Recently, in the light of the requirements for the construction of Sino-Thai quality course signed by the college and Beijing Tangfeng International Education Group, Tangfeng Group has sent professional technicians to the college to assist Sun Xiaolin’s course construction team of the Petrochemical Department to complete the recording of the Sino-Thai quality course Fuel Oil Production Technology. The whole recording process is carried out in the recording and broadcasting classroom of Huaxing Building.

This course is a compulsory one for students of petrochemical major in Sino-Thai Petrochemical International College, which is an overseas branch of the college, with a total of 30 teaching hours. By learning this course, students can master the production process flow and process principle of petroleum processing raw materials and typical crude oil processing, and know essential professional knowledge well, such as the control and adjustment methods of vital position parameters of production devices, in a bid to lay a solid foundation for their follow-up intern and petrochemical work. An earlier curriculum construction plan has been discussed and formulated jointly by Petrochemical Department, School of International Education and Tangfeng Group. Communication and exchange have been enhanced by holding small-scale meetings and setting up WeChat groups. Syllabus compilation, course design, courseware making, clothing, makeup, shooting scene, time schedule and so on have been deeply communicated, to positively advance the implementation of course construction in an effective manner. Furthermore, careful arrangement and rigorous screening have been implemented to ensure the quality and effect of the course construction. Next, the professional team of Tangfeng Group will carry out follow-up work, such as video editing, subtitle production, course grouping, course input, certification and promotion. Moreover, it is estimated that the course will be officially launched on the cloud platform of Tangfeng International Education next year.

The construction of Sino-Thai quality course is a strong attempt to export excellent teaching resources, such as vocational education majors and courses, to overseas, which will certainly further improve the international level of the college. In the future, the college will be more actively integrated into the construction of “the Belt and Road”, demonstrate and export Chinese vocational education concepts and standards to the rest of the world, thus providing “solutions” for Chinese vocational education to step into the global stage.
